Hotel/Casinos are now making more money on food, shows,
spas and shopping than gaming. So now there are a couple new Hotels in
this center strip area (Vdara is the other) that choose to be in the
Hotel business and let the others compete with the gaming.
As the
name would suggest Mandarin Oriental has Asian roots and if you have
ever stayed in a luxury Hotel in Asia you know it is far superior to one
in America (sorry, but its a fact). The level of service is beyond
belief. This Hotel will provide that same kind of service that it's
Asian Hotels properties do.
The lobby offers amazing views of the
strip both north and south, it is located on the 23rd floor. Next time
you are in Vegas take a look, they welcome visitors even if you are not
staying there.

 Dining and Lounging are different here. Its all first class and all in a subdued atmosphere. Without the sounds of a Casino outside the doors, it lets You get away from the fast pace for a little while. All in 5 star comfort. |

Don't like huge theaters and big crowds? Choose an afternoon Show for a much lower price. A Dinner and Show combo is a great value and saves time to do other things that day. |
